I’m terrible at keeping up with internet holidays, but National Coffee Day is something I can TOTALLY get behind. I’m pretty sure I’ve only survived the last three years because I celebrate with coffee every day. 🙂 So, to the only friend I want to see when I wake up in the morning, enjoy your special day, Coffee!
In my world, coffee used to mean using up most of my carbs for the day of fancy creamers and whipped cream. Now it means getting an easy dose of protein in before my day even begins. I’m pretty thrilled with the change. I’m not nearly as ravenous, my macros are better, and the flavor combos are limitless. Here are a few of my favorite protein coffee recipes so that you can celebrate National Coffee Day with me.

Protein Pumpkin Spice Latte (it’s fall, y’all!)–cause, pumpkin, duh.

Protein Chai Latte–for all the chai lovers of the world
