1-Minute Instant Pot Shrimp
Read on to learn how to make the tastiest instant pot shrimp you have ever eaten.
Having shrimp ready whenever you want it is like a special superpower. We are so grateful to the IP for making this quick, easy and painless to prep shrimp for ANY recipe in just a few minutes.
Instant Pot Shrimp In Just 1 Minute
While we call it “1 Minute Shrimp” because it really only cooks under pressure for one minute, give yourself a few extra for the instant pot to get to pressure. Start to finish, we’re probably looking at 11-minute shrimp, but it’s still lightning fast and silly-easy. And 49g of protein with no carbs or fat? Get outta here. They don’t make macros much friendlier than this.
What to Serve With Shrimp
To keep your carb counts low, focus on serving some of these vegetables with your shrimp for dinner:
- Broccoli
- Cauliflower
- Squash (some have higher carb counts than others)
Should you devein shrimp before you cook it?
Whether to devein your shrimp is all a matter of personal preference. The veins in a shrimp do not pose any health risks if you consume them.
Another option is to purchase already deveined shrimp. They cost a bit more, but you won’t have to worry about it.
