Having shrimp ready whenever you want it is like a special super power. We are so grateful to the IP for making this quick, easy, and painless to prep shrimp for ANY recipe in just a few minutes.
While we call it “1 Minute Shrimp” because it really only cooks under pressure for one minute, give yourself a few extra for the instantpot to get to pressure. Start to finish, we’re probably looking at 11 minute shrimp, but it’s still lightning fast and silly-easy. And 49g of protein with no carbs or fat? Get outta here. They don’t make macros much friendlier than this.
- 28 oz frozen shrimp (deviened and peeled if possible)
- 1/2 C apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 C water
- creole seasoning to taste (I'm partial to Tony Chachere's, but you could also use Old Bay)
- Throw everything into InstantPot.
- Close the lid and set the top valve to "seal."
- Program for Manual High for 1 minute.
- QR (quick release when timer goes off).
